Understanding Basic Kitchen Cabinet Sizes

In most cases, the height of wall cabinets will start at 30 inches, but it can also range in size from 33 inches, 36 inches or 40 inches tall. Base Cabinets

For sink base cabinets, you will find they have the same depth and height as a standard base cabinet, however, there are a few more width options. You can choose from widths ranging from 30 to 36 inches, though variations are available.

Pantry Cabinets

Pantry cabinets will be 24 inches deep; however, you may be able to find them in smaller depths. You can also find them at heights of up to 84 inches, but a more popular size is 94.5 inches, providing the floor to ceiling cabinetry that is seen in many modern home designs. Width for pantry cabinets are typically 18 inches, 24 inches or 30 inches.
